Description The Yates Spec Pak combines the immobilization of a short backboard with the suspension and support of a full-body harness. The system features an integrated polyethylene board along the back to minimize wear and ensure smooth sliding during confined space rescues. With dimensions of 9″ x 33″, the board is durable and functional. Grab handles at the head and sides allow for easy handling of the patient even in tight spaces. Spec Pak is especially useful for vertical extractions in confined environments and eliminates the need for an additional victim harness. The self-adjusting cervical restraint helps prevent issues during vertical lifts while secured to the board. It includes a storage bag with a shoulder strap for easy transport, along with a top connection point for lowering the empty device. It is designed as a limited spinal immobilization system and should be used with appropriate spinal precautions like a cervical collar, as needed. Standard Lifting Bridal System (905) is included with Spec Pak. (Spec Pak will not function in all lifting modes without the use of Lifting Bridles).
