They first remove dirt with a slightly damp MicroSpun (using just water), then polish with a dry MicroSpun towel.These MicroSpun towels have been pre-washed for softness. MicroSpun towels can be washed hundreds of times. In fact, the cloths get softer with every wash. Like all microfiber towels, do not use hot water or put in a hot dryer because that can affect the effectiveness of the fibers.
