Description The Story Behind Our Oil and Sediment Filter Sock One of our customers is a large airline that requested a product that would do the following: Be heavy enough to ensure the wind or jet engines on the runway, taxiway, and apron did not blow it away Hug the contours of the ground and effectively dam up a spill Should it be raining, be able to filter the rainwater and hold onto any oil or fuel So we went to work designing an absorbent sock that effectively filters oils, fuels, sheen, silts, sediments, trash, and debris out of stormwater.
